Music

Music seems to have its own "generative grammar", inviting improvisation, composition - sometimes referred to as "play" - creating its own version of words, phrases, sentences, paragraphs, chapters, poems, books, etc (the infinite number of possible sentences of the language).

Studying in Philadelphia in the 1970's with one of the greatest teachers of the 20th century, Dennis Sandole,  I was turned on to this. Over the past 40 years, along with an a growing awareness of a realm of beauty, some fresh constructions have emerged.
