All original compositions, these songs were recorded directly, digitally, on an electric KURZWEIL keyboard in the basement, back room of Wojtek Pilezynski's Art Galley in Woodstock, Vt in 2002. All the titles are "first takes" which is what Wojtek wrote on the disc. I note, now, that all but one of the songs were composed for, or dedicated to, individuals; a combination of portrait, recollection, evocation.
